Christian Holslin, Founder

The word “shwa” is an English transliteration of the Burushaski word for “excellent” originating with the native speakers of Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan.

In 2021, the founder Christian Holslin, married the love of his life. He met her family in 2022 while traveling in northern Pakistan. The region is known for its outstanding natural beauty, extreme terrain, and remote location. Also, much lesser known, are the talented aspiring software engineers learning to master their craft.

Christian founded ShwaTech LLC in New York City in 2024 to expand the reach of his technical expertise to a global audience as well as to provide opportunity to the growing tech community in Hunza.
